One article attests that centers are “exempt from regulatory, licensure, and credentialing oversight that apply to health care facilities.”
Pregnancy Centers are regularly accused of deterring women from getting needed health care as a part of some deep strategic plot to, by any means necessary, stop women from getting abortions. They are accused of disregarding the health of mothers and babies, instead elevating religious beliefs over and above providing even basic care. In such cases, women allegedly “do not receive comprehensive, accurate, evidence-based clinical information about all available options.”
These accusations ignore the facts.
