COVID-19 Protocols
At Choices, the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community remain our top priority. COVID-19 has been reduced from a pandemic to an endemic level and Maricopa County is no longer considered to have high community levels of transmission of COVID-19. Our county COVID-19 rate is appx 3% of what it was in January of 2022. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) no longer recommends masks in public settings in our county.
Taking this information into consideration and on the recommendation of our Medical Director, Eric Hazelrigg MD OB/GYN, Choices is no longer requiring our staff or our clients to wear masks.
We will continue to do routine cleaning on surfaces and frequently touched items such as pens and clipboards. Our staff will gladly wear a mask if a client considers themselves high risk or if they have a concern. Please ask.
As always, in consideration of others please do not enter our clinics if you have:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Recent exposure to someone with COVID 19
